Dubai does have a few places worth seeing though. Most of it’s focused around the desert and sea, which are the pride of Dubai. The beaches are clear and crystal, stretching for acres along the deep azure Gulf sea. It’s a little Caribbean on its own and a paradise when combined with the luxury hotels located around the beaches. The desert provides adventure and thrill, not to mention entertainment, for the more active and thrill-seeking travelers. Apart from the beach and sea, most of the places to include in your Dubai sightseeing tour are places related to shopping, indoor activities and a few man-made scenery, parks and sites.

If you are traveling around within Dubai during the summer months, the heat will be persistent and hard to bear, so be prepared to select only indoor activities and sites. Between mid-June and mid-September, it’s wisest to stay indoors where everything is air-conditioned. By October, Dubai starts to cool down gradually, creating a winter atmosphere by the time it becomes January. The period between December and May are the best times to visit Dubai for sightseeing and tourism.
